Kari Berridge

Kari has been helping individuals reach their fitness and lifestyle goals since 2004. She is a certified fitness trainer with Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA) and has a designation in group fitness, fitness with portable equipment, resistance training and indoor cycle. She is also certified in TRX suspension, VIPR, Barre, myofascial release, and pre- and post-natal training. Because safety is a priority, Kari is trained in CPR and First Aid, and is diligent about updating her certification every year.

Kari is also certified as a Nutrition & Wellness specialist as she approaches health and wellness with a holistic mindset.

Kari has participated in numerous sporting events and activities including body building which she took 3rd place in both categories, triathlon, adventure racing, marathons, ultramarathons including the Death race, Sinister 7, the Grizzly ultra and Blackfoot ultra, rock climbing, the MS bike tour, tour d Alberta, the dv 100 bike race, competitive tap dance, Soldiers of Fitness and the commando course.

Kari established Fit2Motivate in order to create a safe environment for clients at every level. Her desire is to get as many people as comfortable with the foundations of fitness and fitness equipment without feeling intimidated. She limits class sizes to a small group to ensure clients receive the maximum attention required to accomplish their fitness goals. She helps busy people with little time to feel strong, confident, and happy in their own skin. Her approach intelligently combines fitness, nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle coaching.

She’s interested in the long-term success of her clients and teaching the mind-body connection is a top priority. Having gone through many challenging times in her life Kari has learned how important physical activity is to her mental well-being. “Physical fitness is what carried me through the toughest times in my life,” says Kari.

Her goal is to invite you to challenge your current lifestyle and fitness routines and consider how Fit2Motivate will assist you in creating and reaching your future fitness, positive mindset, and lifestyle goals. Fit2Motivate is all about feeling fitter, more energized, and ready to live life to the fullest.
